Savasana is an important pose to complete each yoga therapy for eating disorders session with your patients. Active postures work to warm the body and break down old behaviors. Resting in savasana helps to cool the body to support the emergence of these new behaviors.


I like to tell my clients: You can be whom you choose to be and create yourself anew with every moment. Being the type of person you want to be, starts with doing the thing that person who you want to be does which leads to naturally having the things you want to have. What is the burning fire within you? Is it freedom, peace, recognition? Know yourself and who you want to be. Once you discover this, you will naturally do the things that give you freedom, peace or recognition. The more you develop your own character, the more value you have to share with others.
